Four-day certification course
In addition to learning basic
techniques for teaching the golf swing,
participants will cover more in-depth
topics including: faults & cures,
complete short game, video analysis,
marketing, rules & club fitting, and
psychology.
Participants also receive instruction
on their own golf swing.
Requires successful completion of the
written, verbal teaching and rules test.
All this material is taught and
covered in detail during the course so
you feel comfortable with this testing.
Level III

Six-day certification course.
Recognized as the international golf
teaching professional status.
Fully certified members enjoy all the
rights and privileges of CGTF membership
including participation in the Canadian
Golf Teachers Cup and the World Golf
Teachers Cup.
Requires successful completion of the
written, verbal teaching, rules and the
playing ability test.
Eligible to participate in equipment
discount programs with golf industry
partners.
Level IV

One must be a fully certified Level
III member in good standing for a
minimum of one year.
Three-day certification course
Level IV members may become CGTF
Examiners.
Designed to develop experienced,
career-oriented teaching professionals.
This card reflects the highest level
of certification in the golf teaching
industry.
Candidates may choose to either
provide a 15-minute DVD of themselves
giving a lesson, or (preferably) give a
presentation on a written thesis that
lasts approximately 20 minutes. The DVD
must have clear audio.
